MOUNTING
**As
this will become your most used kitchen appliance, Point
and Cut recommends mounting the unit above the sink
area, or close to your sink or food prep area. This is
the preferred location suggested by existing Point and
Cut owners.**
The Point and Cut
requires a flat mounting surface. It may be
necessary to install spacers if the front edge of your
cabinets hangs lower than the bottom of the
cabinets. These spacers will be located between
the mounting holes on the Point and Cut and the bottom
of your cabinet.
IMPORTANT:
There needs to be a MINIMUM of 13” of space between the
surface that the Point and Cut is mounted to and your
countertop.
Have an assistant hold
the Point and Cut up to the location it is to be mounted
under your cabinets. Using a pencil, mark the
location of each of the (10) mounting holes.
Mount using the #6 X 1/2" L screws provided.
It helps to drill small
"starter" holes for the (10) mounting screws.
Then, run a screw in and out of each of the holes before
actually mounting the unit.
NOTE: To
assure proper operation it is necessary that the gaps
between the MAIN BODY and the outer RIGHT and LEFT side
panels are evenly spaced. You may find it
necessary to slightly loosen the screws after mounting and adjust
the RIGHT and LEFT side panels to make the gaps on the
right and left sides even. (The spaces between the
main body and the RIGHT and LEFT side panels need to be
the same distance on each side.) See gap areas
depicted by the WHITE arrows in Picture #1.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION:
Plug the AC adapter into
an electrical outlet.
WARNING:
Do NOT plug the Point and Cut into an electrical outlet
until it has been installed.
Do NOT operate the Point and Cut with it sitting on a
flat surface.
If your electrical outlet
is inside your cabinets, it will be necessary to remove
the DC plug from the Point and Cut, run the plug down
through a hole in the bottom of your cabinet, and then
re-install it to the Point and Cut.
IMPORTANT: If you
plugged the Point and Cut into an electrical outlet,
UNPLUG it from the electrical outlet BEFORE PROCEEDING.
Failure to do so will permanently damage the power
supply.
To remove the DC plug from the Point and Cut,
open the unit to the full open position.
(See step
#1 in LOADING instructions.)
The DC plug is located in the rear and on the inside
upper portion of the RIGHT side panel. See YELLOW
arrow in Picture #2.

Picture #2
Remove the (2) screws and the small metal plug cover.
Slide the wire end (rear end) of the DC plug out of its
slot and the nose end (front end) will come out of the
locater hole. Cut the tie-wrap that is attached to
the upper rear cross bar.
With the DC plug now unattached, it can be run down
through a hole in the bottom of your cabinets.
To re-attach the DC plug slide the nose end of the plug
through the locater hole it was removed from, and then
slide the wire end back into its slot. Next, the
small metal plug cover must be re-installed.
Lastly, the power cord needs to be re-attached to the
upper rear cross bar. Use the tie-wrap supplied in
the bag of installation screws.
NOTE: If your power supply fails it must be
replaced with an Ault Inc. power supply Part# P48240500A200G.

The

away.
Helpful
Hints
-
To clean the stainless
steel, the drawer needs to be pulled down. This
disconnects the power which allows cleaning around the
sensor areas without activating "unroll" or "cut".
-
Customers have reported
that Endust does a nice job of cleaning the
stainless steel.
-
If the paper towel does
not feed out, tear off one (1) sheet and try reloading
with a fresh edge.
-
If the cutting
mechanism has not been activated, the drawer can be
opened and the paper towel can be rolled back up if
the user decides they dispensed more towel than
necessary.
-
Any size or brand of
household-style paper towel, like you get from the
supermarket, can be used.
